About Rekindle: The mission of Rekindle is to create meaningful social change by bringing leaders from the African-American and Jewish communities together for friendly and challenging dialogue, face-to-face interactions, breaking down barriers, and building new relationships. By rekindling the strong relationships and collaborative action between the Black and Jewish communities that were built during the Civil Rights Movement, we can accelerate our collective impact and increase equity in Cleveland and throughout the country. We encourage Fellows to challenge themselves, expand their worldviews, and take action to advance social justice to Cleveland and around our country.
Our Vision: Rekindle envisions an America where the Black and Jewish communities work together in solidarity and partnership to advance racial justice, social justice, and equity.
Job Description:
Founded in 2021 by a small group of volunteers, Rekindle has become a national movement. Having grown to an annual budget of over $200,000, with over 20 Rekindle Chapters launched or launching nationally, and some 250 Rekindle Fellows nationally, Rekindle is ready for its next phase of growth.
